The Minister and Kirk session of Carryduff Free Presbyterian Church would like to express their deepest sympathies to the Lowe family on the news of the passing of  Mrs. Eileen Lowe tonight  ( 29th June 2018 at 7:15pm )  and assure them of our prayerful support at this difficult time.  God Word states, “Blessed are they that mourn for they shall be comforted” and “God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes”.

The death of a mother is a big blow for any family. Death hurts and it is hard to understand. Mrs. Lowe was a foundation member of the church from its constitution twenty two years ago, and a faithful worshipper for the past forty two years in the old Killynure School house. One of the most godly, good and gracious women that the Lord had amongst his choicest saints. She will be sorely missed especially by all who knew and loved her.

While her death is life changing, and unnatural, it is also “precious in the sight of the Lord” because she was trusting in Christ Jesus alone for salvation. She is now “absent from the body and present with the Lord.”

Please remember the whole Lowe family at this difficult time.

The funeral service has been arranged to take place on Wednesday 4th July 2018 at 2 pm D.V at Carryduff Free Presbyterian Church. There will be a private service in the home for the family at 12:15pm. The burial ground is in Knockbracken RPC graveyard following the church service. Afternoon tea will be provided at Carryduff FPC in the minor hall.

The wake is in Ferndale Farm, Mrs Lowe’s home place, 59 Killynure Road, Carryduff.

Psalm 116v15

Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints.
