Death notice of Molly Liggett

Dear praying friends,

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rosie’s dear mother Mary ( Molly ) Liggett aged 97 and my most gracious mother in law.

She died Tuesday afternoon in Rosie’s arms at 1.07 pm. With her body weak and tired, the Lord Jesus came for her and took her home to heaven. From Rosie’s arm to the Redeemer’s, what a way to go. Thankfully she was saved on the 17th November 1967 and ready to go.

She leaves behind a wonderful testimony and a most lovely legacy of a life, lived by the grace and help of God. She lived to be missed. The Acton Queen, as she was affectionately called by all the neighbours and friends that knew her, is now safe forever in the arms of Jesus.

Redeemed by the Blood of the Lamb Rev 5:9

The funeral arrangements for my mother in law ( in line with her wishes ) are as follows:

The wake is at 34 Acton Village, Poyntzpass, BT35 6TE . The house is open to all. Flowers if desired. Molly’s earthly remains will be brought home to Acton later this afternoon. Funeral leaving Acton Village 11:15am for service at noon in Acton Parish Church, Poyntzpass on Saturday the 11th, followed by a service around the grave with some individuals taking part, including the Rev Fred Greenfield.

There will be a cup of tea after the committal service outside at Molly’s Yard back at her house in Acton. All welcome. Thank you for your prayers at this difficult time. Revelation 5:9 and 14:13 Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord.
