We wish to record our heartfelt thanks to all who took part in our Stand Fast in the Faith Conference held on Saturday 21st March 2026, our way of marking the 75th Anniversary of the Free Presbyterian Church of Ulster (17th March 1951).
We give sincere thanks to every believer who travelled from the four corners of Ulster—from Antrim, Armagh, Down, Tyrone, Londonderry, Fermanagh, and farther afield—to join us for a day of fellowship around the Word of God. Your presence, attentiveness, and prayerful spirit made the occasion one of real encouragement and spiritual profit.
Our warm appreciation is extended to the catering team and helpers of the Carryduff congregation who laboured diligently in preparation for the day—arranging registration, serving tea and scones in the refreshments break, and providing an excellent lunch and fellowship for all. Your quiet service behind the scenes was a genuine ministry of love to the Lord and to His people.
We also express deep gratitude to the four preachers who ministered the Word with faithfulness and clarity:
- Dr Ian Brown (Martyrs Memorial FPC) — “The Scripture Our Foundation: Why the Bible Alone, and Why the Authorised Version.”
- Rev Colin Mercer (Dromore FPC) — “Separation: Standing Faithful to the Gospel in a Compromised Age.”
- Rev Ian Harris (Annalong FPC) — “Sanctification: God’s Work of Making His People Holy.”
- Rev Thomas Martin (Comber FPC) — “Service: Standing Fast in Evangelism and Soul Winning.”

We thank these brethren for their labours in study and for the Spirit‑filled ministry that they brought to each session. The Lord used every message to challenge, strengthen, and steer our hearts to “watch, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.” (1 Corinthians 16:13)
To every visitor, volunteer, and minister—thank you for helping make this historic conference an occasion of real blessing.
May the Lord seal to all our hearts the truths we have heard and enable us, in the days ahead, to stand fast in the faith and hold forth the Word of life.
Over the next few weeks, we will be sharing the videos and and notes, be sure and click the red bell icon to the bottom left to stay notified of new posts.
