๐ŸŽฌ Reformation Movie Night โ€” This Saturday @ 7pm

๐Ÿ“œ Why 31st October Matters

On 31st October 1517, a German monk named Martin Luther nailed his 95 Theses to the door of the Castle Church in Wittenberg โ€” a bold public protest against the corruption of the Roman Catholic Church. He was calling the church back to the Bible and to salvation by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. That stand sparked the Protestant Reformation โ€” the movement that gave us the gospel recovered, the Scriptures in the people’s language, and the truth that we are saved by what Christ did, not by what we do.

๐Ÿ”ฅ The Film: A Great Awakening โ€” The Story of George Whitefield

The movie follows George Whitefield, the fiery 18th-century evangelist who took the gospel of the Reformation to the streets, fields, and frontiers of Britain and America. Preaching to crowds of thousands without a microphone, he helped ignite the Great Awakening โ€” a revival that shook two continents. His message? The same as Luther’s: you must be born again.
