A Free Presbyterian witness against the “Pride” parade took place at Waring Street, Belfast today, Saturday 30th July 2022.
The service was held to highlight the hypocrisy of “Pride”, expose the depravity and perversity of human sinfulness, and recite the clear and unambiguous scriptural texts showing that homosexuality is a great sin before the Lord: therefore it is to be shunned, its practises condemned, and its immorality exposed.
Chapter 20 of the book of Exodus was read to emphasize the universality of the moral law of God, set forth in the Ten Commandments. ( Exodus 20:1-17 ).
We do not do this out of any spite or hatred for anyone ( Judges 3:20 ). We do it out of love ( I John 4:7-17 ), so that people will know the standard by which they will be judged when they stand before God. We do this for all sin, and proclaim the Biblical message that “all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.’ ( Romans 3:23 ) and we all need to be warned to “flee from wrath to come.’ ( Luke 3:7 )
The Lord Jesus said, “Ye must be born again.” ( John 3:7 ). He said that because we all have a nature that is defective and sinful, we need to be converted to Christ, by the Spirit of Christ, in the act of regeneration. There is only one Saviour of Sinners ( John 14:6 , Acts 4:12 )
We call on people to recognise that we can have a NEW LIFE in Christ. We can become new creatures or new creations in Christ by His saving grace, through faith alone in Him.
We would call on all, to seek the radical transformation that is found in the Lord Jesus Christ.
