Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

Andrew Foster, originally from Comber, heard God’s call into full time missionary work and trained for 4 years with the New Tribes Mission. When God closed that door, it meant seeking His face afresh for direction. Only one avenue was laid on his heart: our own Mission Board.

After visiting Uganda in August 2016 for the first time, Andrew had the opportunity to work as part of a small team at Emmanuel Christian School. He looks forward to helping with the practical side of things in Uganda. Having built missionary houses, a guest house and a medical clinic with NTM in some of the remotest parts of the world, being part of the work in Emmanuel Christian School is an exciting prospect. He is looking forward to helping mentor the young people and to be part of the daily school work, or in whatever way the Lord seeks to use him.
